Location: St. Louis

We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler / Project Planner to coordinate customer projects within a fast-paced packaging and manufacturing environment. This position combines production scheduling, project planning, customer service, and supply chain coordination.

The successful candidate will manage multiple customer projects from initial planning through production and final delivery. This individual will work closely with customers, vendors, production, operations, quality, procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available, production schedules are maintained, and customer deadlines are met.

Candidates with experience in contract packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, consumer product packaging, supply chain operations, or a related manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously from initial planning through production and final delivery.
  • Develop and communicate production schedules, project timelines, milestones, priorities, and customer delivery expectations.
  • Coordinate project readiness by tracking approved documentation, materials, components, inventory, labor capacity, and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, procurement, warehousing, logistics, vendors, and customers to identify and resolve scheduling or supply-related issues.
  • Prepare project reports, provide status updates, maintain accurate ERP information, and support continuous improvements in scheduling and project execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Approximately 3–7 years of experience in production scheduling, project planning, project coordination, customer project management, or operations planning.
  • Experience with in contract packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, consumer products, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
