The Inventory Control Associate will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by counting and reporting results of physical counts and assist in re-warehousing of product.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts, aisle checks, vintage verification, and other checks as needed.
- Track physical counts, looking for trends.
- Identify product that can be removed from forward pick locations to continuously ensure items with most activity are easiest to pick.
- Research driver shorts, hand back order, and any other invoice delivery issues.
- Assist in returns process, putting bottle and cases in storage locations.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically. Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
