D&G Solutions is seeking a Military Munitions Mission Planner to provide operational planning, coordination, analysis, and mission management support for the movement and distribution of military munitions across the Department of War (DoW) transportation enterprise. This role integrates munitions requirements with transportation capacity, infrastructure, routing, timing, security, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities to develop executable movement plans supporting Joint Force readiness and contested logistics.
WhatYou Will Do
- Develop and maintain end-to-end military munitions movement plans supporting strategic, operational, and tactical requirements.
- Translate munitions requirements into executable transportation missions based on priority, destination, required delivery date, mode, capacity, and operational constraints.
- Develop courses of action for routine, surge, crisis, and contested logistics scenarios.
- Identify transportation capacity, infrastructure, routing, staging, transload, port, airfield, and storage requirements.
- Conduct mission analysis to identify constraints, risks, dependencies, and potential points of failure.
- Coordinate changes to mission plans as requirements, transportation availability, or operational priorities change.

- Analyze munitions distribution networks for vulnerabilities associated with contested logistics.
- Develop alternate routes, modes, nodes, staging locations, and distribution concepts to improve resilience.
- Assess the impact of degraded transportation networks, infrastructure loss, cyber disruption, capacity constraints, and other operational disruptions.
- Support development of distributed logistics concepts that reduce single points of failure.
- Conduct what-if analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate the ability of the transportation network to support sustained munitions operations.
- Develop mission plans, synchronization matrices, deployment schedules, movement forecasts, decision briefs, risk assessments, and executive-level presentations.
- Develop and maintain planning assumptions, planning factors, constraints, and decision criteria.
- Perform quantitative analysis to assess transportation capacity against munitions requirements.
- Support Joint and Service exercises involving strategic movement and distribution of military munitions.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support readiness assessments and contingency planning.
- Track corrective actions through completion and assess whether implemented solutions improve mission performance.
