NDT Technician - Level 2

Join Industrial Inspection & Analysis as an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician in St. Louis, MO. The technician performs hands‑on Non‑Destructive Testing at customer sites and IIA locations, supports job preparation, mobilization, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on NDT/NDE work interfacing with customers and training assistant/ apprentices.
  • Ensure work and materials comply with manufacturer and customer specifications.
  • Comply with safety, quality procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Own personal and overall job‑site safety, stopping the job if unsafe.
  • Conduct safety observations and inspections daily.
  • Pre‑job preparation: equipment, walkdowns, procedural reviews.
  • Post‑job preparation: equipment, walkdowns, procedural reviews.
  • Complete job reports and paperwork on time.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic NDT principles, processes, and limitations.
  • Verifiable evidence of certification or ASNT training completion.
  • CWI strongly preferred.
  • Mechanical concepts and spatial relationships.
  • Basic math knowledge.
  • Read, comprehend, and prepare technical specifications and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills for daily customer interaction.
  • Basic software, Outlook, and web‑based service literature skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass pre‑employment screening, background, and random drug screening.
  • Meet quality program requirements and total work experience for the applicable method and level.

Full‑time position (minimum 40 hours per week). If NDT work is unavailable, the technician supports other lab areas to ensure 40 hours of work.
