Airfield Maintenance Worker (Limited-Term)

Work is Lambert International Airport assisting with airfield maintenance, machinery operation, snow removal, and landscaping.

• Operate heavy and light machinery including snow vehicles, trucks, tractors, snow plows, snow blowers, rollers, de‑icer trucks, graders, forklifts, skid loaders, backhoes, utility loaders, power painting equipment, dump trucks, street sweepers, grass cutting tractors, weed sprayers, water trucks, cement mixers, chain saws, welding equipment, asphalt recyclers, and other equipment.
• Respond to snow calls, weather, and emergency events.
• Inspect airfield conditions and remove foreign object debris.
• Cut grass, control weeds, haul dirt, cut and remove trees, and assist with landscape maintenance.
• Install, inspect, and maintain security fencing.
• Remove debris from airfield and remove rubber from runways.

• One year of experience in maintenance and/or grounds work.
• Background investigation required – pass/fail.
• Medical examination required – pass/fail.

• Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a commuting allowance of $180.00 bi‑weekly.
