- Operate, control, and regulate boiler operation.
- Troubleshoot boiler and boiler auxiliary problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities, including oil and greasing of machinery, water treatment on boilers and cooling towers, and fire sprinkler system inspection and repair.
- Facility upkeep of plant buildings and associated grounds maintenance, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and plant‑wide utility systems.
- Support and assist the Facilities Electrician when the nature of work requires help that does not rely on extensive electrical training.
- Analyze and determine proper corrective action to resolve mechanical problems on any plant equipment using available resources.
- Apply basic computer skills for effective communication and documentation.
- Respond to emergency breakdown repairs and install new or expand existing plant mechanical systems.
- Identify, prepare, and perform work orders for mechanical repairs, overhauls, and improvement efforts.
- Define, develop, and perform preventive maintenance schedules and parts requirements to ensure equipment is in peak operating condition.
- Ensure required spare or replacement parts are ordered and stocked in the storeroom.
- Assume responsibility for the technical conditions and downtime associated with plant operating departments.
- Assist electricians when the nature of their work requires additional help that doesn’t require intimate electrical knowledge.
- Collaborate with operating department personnel to identify work orders that need to be accommodated and plan and execute those work orders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant machinery/equipment.
- Modify existing equipment to produce new packages or products; install new equipment and perform preventive maintenance and lubrication.
- Minimum 5 years of satisfactory experience in industrial maintenance work or equivalent technical schooling and experience. Transcripts must be submitted to HR.
- Current Stationary Engineers License – Class 1.
- Acceptable scores on validated assessment tests.
- Pass the fork truck and elevator‑platform lifts certification test.
- Basic capabilities in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding, and machining.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, piping schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings.
- Basic experience with 120 V power distribution systems and signal, control, and communication circuits troubleshooting.
- Basic capabilities to understand, operate, troubleshoot, and repair high‑speed manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Demonstrable experience in preventive maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated tactical skills in troubleshooting.
- Wears a respirator and other personal protective equipment as required.
- Position will assist in filling staffing gaps in accordance with Henkel Social Standard Policy.

SalaryThe salary for pena role is $39.25 – $40.25. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may also be modified in the future.
