Overview

A premier hospitality group is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a 200+ room property located in the heart of one of St. Louis’s most vibrant communities. This hotel serves as a critical pillar for the surrounding medical and academic community, near one of the nation’s leading hospital complexes. This location offers the opportunity to manage a high-demand asset while living in a city known for its world-class parks, diverse culinary scene, and an affordable cost of living.

The property maintains a steady, high-volume business mix from prestigious neighboring institutions, allowing the General Manager to focus on optimizing guest experiences and driving profitability. Position

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all hotel operations to ensure consistent profitability and compliance with franchise standards and local laws.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, and coaching associates to foster a high-performance, motivated team culture.
  • Analyze financial results and implement strategic actions to improve revenue, manage expenses, and maximize GOP.
  • Maintain the physical asset in first-class condition through diligent oversight of capital and property programs.
  • Resolve guest concerns with a high degree of professionalism to maintain top-tier customer satisfaction scores.
  • Engage with the local community and key accounts to promote the property and drive future business growth.
Position Requirements
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–10 years of leadership experience in hotel management, specifically in a General Manager capacity.
  • Proven track record with Hilton or Marriott brand standards and systems.
  • Advanced financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L, evaluate data, and execute operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface with owners, executives, and guests.
Compensation Package Details
  • Base Salary: $105,000 – $115,000
  • Bonus: 20% annual potential
  • Retirement: 401K with company match
  • Health:
    Medical benefits (shared cost), with Dental and Vision available
  • Time Off: 120 hours of PTO (prorated for the first year)
