What

You’ll Do

The Vice President, Ministry Solutions is responsible for building and stewarding relationships with ministry partners, including congregations, schools, agencies, and related entities. This role identifies partnership opportunities, aligns organizational offerings to ministry needs, and drives sustainable growth for both ministry partners and our organization. The position balances external relationship development, internal collaboration, program leadership, and revenue accountability.

  • Identify ministry needs and recommend appropriate Ministry Solutions offerings to support growth, sustainability, and mission impact.
  • Represent the full portfolio of Ministry Solutions, including but not limited to strategic ministry design, expansion campaigns, advancement partnerships, development coaching, campaign readiness studies, wellness initiatives, and stewardship services.
  • Actively generate revenue to support the Ministry Solutions department and the organization’s overall financial health.
  • Grow and strengthen partnerships with external organizations that align with ministry objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnership opportunities that expand reach, expertise, or impact.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Ministry Solutions at conferences, meetings, workshops, and external events.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to churches, schools, and agencies in areas such as policy governance, executive leadership structure, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support school sustainability initiatives for individual schools and systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to support new school start-ups, including planning, coaching, and ongoing support.
  • Manage and qualify incoming leads, determining appropriate next steps, including direct engagement or referral to other team members.
  • Develop and refine processes, tools, and materials to improve the effectiveness and consistency of Ministry Solutions programs.
  • Create and contribute content (e.g., Ministry Moments, video, audio, and written resources) that supports Ministry Solutions offerings and thought leadership.
  • Prepare reports and updates as requested by leadership.
  • Manage budgets related to agency and ministry solution initiatives.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and manage part-time consultants.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Build strong working relationships with Growth Solutions team members, district staff, and CEF executive leadership.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience supporting capital campaigns, stewardship initiatives, or development programs within congregations, schools, agencies, or similar organizations.
  • Minimum of two years of experience developing programmatic or ministry-related resources.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive experience supervising, coaching, or leading staff or consultants.
