Chemical Packaging Technician II

Location:

Creve Coeur, MO
Pay: $22.50/hr

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Chemical Packaging Tech II professionals to join our growing team. This role involves hands‑on filling, labeling, packaging, and staging of chemical products in a safety‑driven environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Stage, manually or semi‑automatically fill, cap, label, and overpack products (liquids, powders, lyophilized materials).
  • Follow approved packaging specifications and ISO procedures.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Ensure all products are properly delivered to inventory.
  • Work safely while using required PPE at all times.
  • Support quality systems and follow all quality & safety protocols.
  • Train others and work effectively in a team environment.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5–6 years in a chemical or packaging environment.
  • Experience with mixing, labeling, and handling chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of basic math.
  • Basic computer skills & data entry.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs with equipment assistance.
  • Must meet respirator fit requirements.
  • Must be clean‑shaven daily (respirator compliance).
  • Ability to wear PPE: air helmet, mask, safety shoes, gloves, Tyvek suit, apron, goggles/safety glasses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP experience
  • Familiarity with ISO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments
Education

High school diploma or GED required

Additional Details
  • Onsite interviews required
  • Exposure to chemicals; PPE required
  • Standard physical exam required
