Material Handler
As a Material Handler with Carpentry level 1 on 2nd shift here at Honeywell, You will report to the Material Management Leader and you’ll work out of our St. Louis, MO location on a On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by accurately handling materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
You will need to have carpentry skills to create customized pallets for shipping.
- Verify accuracy, quality and quantity of incoming/outgoing materials and stage appropriately.
- Label and document materials accordingly.
- Identify, locate and process materials for job orders.
- Build customized pallets for shipping (carpentry skills).
- Maintain, replenish and account for inventory of materials.
- Process, barcode and document returns, and communicate appropriately.
- Maintain condition of materials by conducting regular audits and report appropriately.
- Collaborate with departments to locate missing materials; correct and replace damaged materials.
- Perform annual inventory of all materials for the site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Carpentry skills to build customized pallets for shipping.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Technical education is a plus.
- Computer literacy: SAP, Oracle, MS.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 40 pounds.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality.
