Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
- Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work environment. - Quality Control:
Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications, reducing waste and defects. - Team Leadership:
Motivate, coach, and perform with production staff to meet daily output goals. - Production Planning & Execution:
Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing by work center. Collaborate with other leads to prioritize staffing, aligning with customer satisfaction. - Equipment & Troubleshooting:
Monitor equipment functionality, perform minor troubleshooting, and coordinate with internal resources for repairs. - Training & Development:
Train new team members, conduct on-the-job training, and foster skill development. - Continuous Improvement:
Lead problem-solving projects such as A3 activities, both as a champion and mentor, and lean improvements. Exhibit a spirit of continuous improvement in all areas. - Reporting & Communication:
Accurately report production, track KPIs, and communicate progress or issues to Value Stream Leader.
- Safety-Conscious:
Strong dedication to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment. - Problem-Solving:
Capability to identify, analyze, and address production issues quickly. - Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of production scheduling, quality control processes, and process dependent tool maintenance. - Organization:
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. - Communication:
Effective verbal and written skills for reporting to Value Stream Leader and area team directly. - Technical Proficiency:
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook and ERP system). - Leadership Ability:
Proven capacity to motivate and train teams to meet production targets. - Calm Under Pressure:
Able to handle stressful, high-demand, and changing environments. - Flexibility:
Willingness to support different shift times and tasks.
Education and Experience :
- HS Diploma or equivalent – required
- Three years’ experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment – required
- Two years’ experience with leadership - preferred
