About The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Production Manager to join the Plant Leadership Team at our largest U.S. manufacturing facility. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-volume, high-speed operation that plays a critical role in our national supply chain.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Manufacturing, you will oversee complex, multi-building production operations and play a strategic role in shaping the plant’s long-term success. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and deliver measurable results across safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do Leadership & Culture- Inspire, coach, and mentor a diverse leadership team, fostering a strong culture of inclusion, accountability, and development.
- Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring all employees are trained, engaged, and committed to safe operations.
- Oversee high-speed production operations across a 24/7 schedule during seasonal peaks.
- Maintain full accountability for labor, material, and operational budgets—identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
- Optimize production flow, staffing, and performance to ensure on-time manufacturing and shipment of conforming products.
- Lead initiatives that support the business’s 3‑year strategic growth plan.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and CI efforts across multiple production units to exceed KPIs.
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver cohesive plantwide performance.
- Serve as a core member of the Plant Leadership Team, sharing best practices and influencing decision-making.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and ensure smooth execution across multi‑building operations.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (CPG experience strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Demonstrated success in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and capital project execution.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Proven leadership in manufacturing and supply chain operations with a track record of delivering results.
- Experience with contract manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze and act on budgeting, labor, and materials data.
- Skilled in developing manufacturing methods that improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Leadership role within a highly dynamic, seasonal 24/7 operation during peak periods.
- Hands‑on presence across six production buildings, combined with office time for analytical work.
