Quality Control Technician (Entry-Level)

We are currently seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team on a daytime shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in food quality and safety.

Position Summary

The QC Technician supports food safety and quality programs by performing inspections, testing raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

This is an entry-level role with hands‑on training provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Perform basic laboratory testing (Salt Titration, PH Meter, Viscosity, Ect.)
  • Collect and document samples according to company procedures
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMPs and food safety standards
  • Accurately complete quality documentation and reports

    Assist with internal audits, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory/work area
  • Support compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, and other regulatory standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to follow written procedures and documentation requirements
  • Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality control
  • Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred (not required)
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF or food safety standards
