Maintenance Technician - St Louis

MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. Its Distilling Solutions segment provides bourbons, whiskeys, ryes, gins, and vodkas to craft and multinational brands. MGP's own Branded Spirts business is growing following the 2021 acquisition of Luxco, a top spirits producer, bottler, supplier, and importer as well as the 2023 acquisition of Penelope Bourbon, known for its wide range of uniquely blended expressions.

Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional, functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S., and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining bottling equipment and doing preventative maintenance.

• Perform daily preventive maintenance of all production equipment.
• Change over all equipment used in the production process.
• Operate various pieces of maintenance equipment such as but not limited to welding equipment, cutting torches, mill, lathe, and drill press.
• Understand electric, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.

• Minimum of 1 year in production environment (food and/or beverage industry preferred).
• Self-started and organized.
• Physical demands requiring lifting of 50 pounds or more times.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• TIG welding skills is a plus.
