THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maximizing line performance, completing change overs, and conducting daily preventive maintenance of all production equipment, as well as maintaining bottling equipment and doing preventative maintenance. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check, drug test, and successfully pass a mechanical aptitude assessment (Work Keys).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Maximize line performance, complete change overs, and conduct daily preventive maintenance of all production equipment.
- Operate various pieces of maintenance equipment such as but not limited to welding equipment, cutting torches, mill, lathe, and drill press.
- Understand electric, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- As issues arise, this person will need to be a real-world problem‑solver on the production floor.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum of 1 year in production environment (food and/or beverage industry preferred).
- Electrical, Mechanical or experience working with motors is a plus.
- Experience working on conveyors is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical reasoning skills with the ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and system behavior
- Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Self-started and organized.
- Physical demands requiring lifting of 50 pounds or more times.
