OverviewYour Role: The Manufacturing Technician 2 — 1st Shift at the South Broadway site is responsible for setting up and preparing products according to current manufacturing procedures, cleaning up equipment and manufacturing suites after production operations, complete batch records during the production of products, and always follow all safety and quality policies.
Responsibilities- 1st Shift: Monday — Friday 6:00AM — 2:30PM.
- Set up and operate diverse processing equipment, including automated filling, packaging, and disinfection systems, for both powder and liquid products.
- Identify malfunctions and implement authorized corrective actions by adjusting set points, reconfiguring equipment, or collaborating with maintenance teams.
- Execute end-to-end manufacturing operations—from initial product setup and preparation to final filling and packaging—following strict SOPs.
- Safely transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping, fork trucks, and pallet jacks to ensure seamless process flow.
- Manage comprehensive cleaning and disinfection cycles for all equipment and work spaces, ensuring areas remain orderly and production-ready.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards by completing accurate batch records, filling out compliance logbooks, and managing waste disposal documentation.
- Perform all tasks in strict compliance with safety regulations while applying scientific principles to improve and streamline manufacturing processes.
- Wear appropriate PPE for production processes including but not limited to full face respirators, gloves, and suits.
- Lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years’ experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in chemistry, mathematics, and science.
- Experience with safe chemical handling methods.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong computer, mechanical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Pay Range for this position: $20.00-$31.00.
- The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
