Precision Machinist

Job Summary

Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Apply mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
• Inspect close‑tolerance parts and maintain high attention to detail.
• Fluent use of calipers, micrometers, and general measuring devices.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Some form of related Tech School education (Preferred).
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing‑related position; medical device industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional attendance record.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume area.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Team player who is self‑motivated, open to new ideas, and committed to continual learning.
• Swiss CNC lathe experience (Preferred).
