Associate Operator, Production Technician I (St. Louis, MO) – On‑Site

Associate Operator, Production Technician I is a teammate that places safety first, handles raw materials, stages materials for processing, operates pallet jacks or forklifts, and works as a team player.

• Set up machines to specification.
• Fill and label products.
• Clean and sanitize equipment between orders.
• Read and understand batch reports to set up machines to order specification.
• Verify batch weights and quantities through mathematical calculations.
• Assist Group Leader and Production Supervisor in training new employees and performing competency reviews.
• Understand and follow all plant policies concerning safety/emergency, conduct, maintenance and sanitation.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling and storage of food products.

• High School Diploma or GED; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Previous food plant experience.
• Forklift truck experience and license required.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Ability to be on your feet 60%-90% of the day.
• Frequently lift a 35lb. product hose; lift, move, pull & push up to 50lb.
• Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold).

Salary $24.00 per hour.
