This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Jefferson:
Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Springfield:
Food Handers within 90 days of hire.

Skills, knowledge and abilities:
Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character. Basic math skills Time management skills Great interpersonal skills.

Working conditions, mental and physical requirements:
Equipment used:
All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.

Preferred education:

High school diploma or its equivalent.
