Trident Consulting is seeking a "Aseptic Manufacturing Technician" for one of our clients in St. Louis, MO.

Job Title: Aseptic Manufacturing Technician

Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $23/hour + 7% shift differential

Duration: 12 months

Employment Type: Contract-W2 Temp-to-Perm Potential

  • Shift

    Hours:

    Regular Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Training Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (First Shift)
Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician 2 is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, and cleaning production equipment, executing batch records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires hands‑on production support in an aseptic manufacturing environment, documentation in SAP, and adherence to strict GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate processing equipment including:
  • Filter Integrity Testing systems
  • Watson Marlow pumps
  • Autoclaves
  • High-throughput bag line systems
  • Perform production operations such as:
  • Hand filling
  • Aseptic gowning and qualification
  • Execute in‑process manufacturing tasks and assays
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and manufacturing areas post‑production
  • Deliver products to warehouse using motorized pallet jack
  • Complete batch records accurately and in compliance with SAP systems
  • Maintain logbooks and documentation as per GMP standards
  • Label in‑process equipment and containers correctly
  • Dispose of waste according to compliance regulations
  • Monitor equipment and production status; report deviations
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality policies
  • Identify and address unsafe conditions immediately
  • Support Manufacturing Technician 1 activities and coordinate production updates
  • Participate in safety and quality training programs
  • Setup, dispense, and package technically complex products
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and science
  • Experience in safe chemical handling
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Good computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting ability
  • Organizational skills
