Overview

Toyota Manufacturing is seeking a Group Leader to support production needs by developing team members and leaders, driving safety, quality, cost and performance objectives.

Shift

PM shifts:
Monday–Thursday (4days×10hours) 8pm–6:30am;
Friday–Sunday (3days×12hours) 6pm–6:30am.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a group of hourly team leaders and team members to ensure a safe operating environment.
  • Lead and coordinate training and development activities for the production team.
  • Act as the primary communication link between leadership and the production team.
  • Conduct daily management of the assigned area including safety, quality, productivity, cost and team member development.
  • Use problem‑solving skills to eliminate bottlenecks, improve equipment and team member ergonomics.
  • Engage the team in systematic problem‑solving and quality circle activities to build capabilities.
  • Apply engineering principles to resolve daily concerns and develop practical solutions.
  • Plan and manage the area budget, including operating supplies, raw materials, and staffing to continuously improve efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience (10years) in industrial equipment maintenance/engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience (3+years) in a skilled maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or supply‑chain role within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in project management and planning skills.
  • Strong mechanical skills, creativity, and ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical solutions.
