The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our St. Louis, MO manufacturing plant for a full-time first shift Material Handler II. Shift: First (6:00 am-2:30 pm, Mon-Fri). Annual salary or hourly wage: $23+. Plant/work location: 2121 Walton, Rd., St. Louis, MO 63114.

What We DoThe Gund Company manufactures and fabricates specialized engineered thermoplastic materials and custom parts from drawings and samples (reverse engineering). We provide a unique performance advantage to diverse industries.
Qualifications- 5+ years of forklift operation and material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage processes from beginning to end.
- Proactive learner eager to become a subject matter expert.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Demonstrated ability to take a process from quote to delivery.
- A genuine curiosity and deep desire to become the best (SME).
- Receive, inspect, store, pull, and stage materials for fabrication.
- Verify documentation, match packing slips, and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Handle HAZCOM/HAZMAT materials per guidelines.
- Pull and stage materials based on FIFO and production schedules.

The work environment is typical of most shop environments, not climate controlled, and subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

- Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
