Location: St. Louis

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to be responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of all production equipment in our manufacturing facility consisting of typical machine shop equipment, CNC machines, as well as custom production equipment.

Skills/

Experience:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to maintain, diagnose, and repair typical machine shop equipment of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Ability to read prints and fabricate components to those specifications.
  • Strong attention to details and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer and office software knowledge.
  • Experience with CNC G&M code programming.
  • Experience with CAD software; preferably Solid Works.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspection and preventative maintenance on all production equipment and repair and refurbish production equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
  • Design, fabrication, and implementation of modification fixtures at the direction of Engineering for use by production personnel.
  • Document the proper use of all manufacturing equipment and train manufacturing personnel at the direction of the Production Manager.
  • Accurate inventory of all production consumables and request purchasing quantities to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Write CNC programs and verify accuracy through first run before releasing the programs into production.
  • Maintain accuracy of source programs saved on the company network and loaded on all production machines.
