- Program, set up, operate, and qualify parts on 5-axis and multi-axis CNC equipment
- Develop machining processes, operation sequences, tooling strategies, speeds, feeds, and toolpaths
- Support tooling design, tooling selection, fixtures, gauges, and work holding requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot programming errors, tooling issues, setup challenges, and dimensional nonconformances
- Support first-piece qualification and ensure finished parts meet extremely tight tolerance requirements
- Improve cycle times, tooling performance, part quality, and overall machining processes
- Support probing routines, post-processor editing, and macro programming
- Train and provide technical guidance to CNC setup technicians and operators
- 10+ years of CNC programming, setup, and machining experience
- Advanced experience programming and qualifying 5-axis or multi-axis CNC equipment
- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code
- Ability to develop machining processes and select the appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting strategies
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, CAD models, and dimensional requirements
- Proven ability to produce complex components to extremely tight tolerances
- Strong tooling selection, process development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and support programs from initial development through production
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Proficiency with Siemens NX CAM, Mastercam, or comparable advanced CAM software
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and VERICUT or similar CNC simulation software
- Background in aerospace, medical, turbine, defense, or another high-precision manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of machining difficult materials such as Inconel, superalloys, stainless steel, steel, or forgings
- Capability with post-processor editing, macro programming, machine probing, or advanced tooling development
