Compensation: $110,000–$160,000 base salary, based on experience, plus 20% bonus

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing, high-precision manufacturing organization. This role will focus heavily on new product introduction, new product development, and creating reliable manufacturing processes for complex components moving from design into production.
The ideal candidate will come from aerospace, medical, defense, or another precision-driven manufacturing environment and understand the level of process control required to consistently produce tight-tolerance components. This individual will partner closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve manufacturing challenges, strengthen processes, and support successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities- Lead manufacturing support for new product introduction and new product development
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for complex, high-precision components
- Translate engineering requirements into practical production methods, work instructions, and process controls
- Support the transition of new components from design into full production
- Evaluate tooling, equipment, capacity, and resource needs for new and existing processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause and corrective-action efforts
- Support first-article inspections, process validation, and product qualification
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing efficiency
- Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical and dimensional issues
- Take ownership of assigned manufacturing projects from planning through implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Background supporting high-precision or tight-tolerance manufacturing
- Experience with new product introduction, new product development, or production launches
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, injection molding, or similar operations
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements
- Ability to develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process-control documentation
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action skills
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, production, and operations
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Aerospace, medical, defense, or another high-precision manufacturing background
- First-article inspection and product qualification exposure
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, process control, or continuous improvement knowledge
- Familiarity with CAD, CAD/CAM, ERP, or MRP systems
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or comparable quality standards
- Ability to interpret Model-Based Definitions and digital manufacturing requirements
- Dimensional inspection or component design exposure
- Familiarity with coatings, thermal spray, or other specialized manufacturing processes
