Lift Mechanic
Monitor, diagnose, and repair equipment including Forklifts, Pallet Trucks, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts and other industrial equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
Complete work orders and data input in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards.
Always use personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with tools, machinery, and hazardous materials.
Two or more years of experience as heavy equipment mechanic.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret machine blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Technical degree preferred.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Must be able to stand 8 or more hours per day frequently stooping and kneeling.
Must possess sufficient visual acuity and depth perception to complete job tasks.
Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with confined space entry and industrial boiler manufacturing and apply appropriate safety equipment when required.
Must be able to lift/maneuver 50lbs. unassisted using proper safety techniques and/or equipment.
Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, (paint masks, respirator, when required) and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.
