Downstream Processing Technician III

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Downstream Processing Technician III to join our world-class team in St. Louis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of exceptional professionals and play a vital role in the flawless execution of manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs.
Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that all tasks are completed right the first time. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks, and data to strict cGMP standards, contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on proactive 'right the first time' executions.
- Assist with batch record reconciliation.
- Maintain suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks, and data according to site SOPs and policies.
- Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements and complete document reviews and revisions.
- Participate in daily record reviews, tasks, and databases, actively providing feedback.
- Participate and lead in shift exchanges, 1-1's, and meetings as needed to facilitate area needs based on changes.
- Support quality investigations by answering questions, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements.
- Practice and promote safe work habits, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Critically evaluate processes with foresight and forward-thinking.
- Ensure tasks are performed with prioritization, interpreting production schedules to complete tasks accordingly.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in cleanroom and aseptic techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, operation, production, lab setting, or related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience in a cGMP environment and a 4-year STEM degree.
- Knowledge of cGMP practices, aseptic techniques, or chemical concepts.
- Subject Matter Expert on downstream processing steps.
Work Environment
Work in a clean room/aseptic suite environment, requiring gowning in a full suit including bodysuit, gloves, hair & beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses. The role requires the ability to meet cleanroom gowning requirements, lift a minimum of 25 lbs independently, and stand for 80% of the shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
