Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Flexographic Operator role based in St. Charles County, MO. The Flexographic Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels, literature, and packaging materials in accordance with cGMP and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials, inks, and plates; performing machine adjustments; verifying print quality; and completing required production and quality documentation.

The role also involves routine equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, troubleshooting press issues, and collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. The Flexographic Operator is expected to follow all safety protocols, participate in continuous improvement activities, and support adherence to strict quality and inspection requirements.

Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with flexographic or similar printing presses, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality mindset, with the ability to perform visual inspections and follow rigorous quality procedures.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, manufacturing, or regulated production environments is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documentation, and maintain accurate records.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery, including performing routine maintenance and adjustments.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully across shifts and departments.
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time, including possible overtime or shift work as production needs require.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing is an asset.
