As a Production Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes.
  • Step in to cover supervisory functions when needed and communicate production status to leadership.
  • Lead and support problem‑solving efforts, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing system efficiency and compliance.
  • Deliver training and mentorship to new or existing staff to maintain strong team performance.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Operate and monitor production systems such as reactors, centrifuges, ion exchange equipment, and related industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve workflow issues and support departmental objectives.
  • Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and reporting hazards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer‑related inquiries tied to production activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific field (associate degree with extensive manufacturing experience also considered).
  • 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience required; 2–3 years preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
  • Experience with industrial production equipment and systems (e.g., DCS, centrifuges, dryers, SAP).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with proven problem‑solving and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working rotating or night shifts in a manufacturing setting.
