CNC Machine Operator
This role involves operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts from the production line, starting at 5:00 AM. You will set up, run, and monitor CNC equipment, perform inspections, and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to production requirements and engineering blueprints.
- Set up machines, tools, and fixtures as needed to run assigned jobs efficiently and safely.
- Monitor machine operations throughout the shift and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect parts using calipers and other hand tools to verify dimensions and tolerances meet specifications.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on CNC machines and related equipment to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery and working on the production floor.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with machine operation and machine operating tasks, including setup and basic adjustments.
- Proficiency using inspection tools such as calipers and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts to ensure quality standards.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for CNC equipment and related production machinery.
- Comfort using hand tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when following specifications and measurements.
- Ability to work reliably with a 5:00 AM start time and maintain consistent attendance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating press brake equipment in addition to CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with general production processes and workflows in a manufacturing environment.
- Capability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
