SALARY: $85,500 + bonus eligible + sign-on bonus

SHIFT:
Assigned shift (days, afternoons, midnights & weekends)

Role Summary

If you are interested in a hands‑on, continuous improvement‑oriented, fast‑paced role in a world‑class manufacturing environment then our Brewery Area Manager within one of our Brewery Operations or our Shift Supervisor role within one of our Manufacturing Operations is the role is for you. This is a chance to be on the production floor, troubleshooting, and problem solving on the fly to ensure we meet our production goals.

This is a chance to develop as a leader, change agent, and Engineer.

Job Responsibilities
  • Developing and leading front‑line operational teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Bring your authentic self to work every day, lead with humility and drive top performance in a fast‑paced industrial manufacturing environment.
  • As a front‑line manager, you will be leading diverse teams where you will identify ways to drive performance through teamwork, empowerment, and leadership in a union environment.
  • Safety is a top priority. Brewery Area Managers and Shift Supervisors will need to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the production floor is compliant with all AB policies.
  • Our front‑line managers and their teams are the keepers of quality. You are responsible for upholding quality standards for all products.
  • Problem‑solving both personnel and process‑related issues are key for individual and plant success!
  • You will be reliant on your team for understanding the process.
  • Relationship building is a key factor in your success in this role.
  • Through training, you will learn to detect systematic issues through visual or oral methods from machines or equipment and discuss the operations with maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
  • Machines include pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and other various packaging equipment used in the beer making process.
  • You will be expected to utilize data analysis and other lean manufacturing methods used for process improvement to enhance product/process efficiency.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, discipline, and development to employees.
  • You will need to be able to have tough conversations with a diverse group of people.
  • Leadership of work area that includes being able to speak to performance with senior leadership.
Job Qualifications
  • Current university student or recent university graduate – Bachelor’s Degree with a GPA of 2.8 or greater.
  • A background in Engineering or Science is preferred.
  • Our Breweries and Technical Operations are 24/7 - 365 day a year facilities which requires alternating shift work for participants who enter the program.
  • You must have flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, & overtime.
  • Weekends are paid above base salary.
