What is the day to day like for a CNC Machinist

• Plan, program, and make parts to meet drawing specifications
• Collaborate with highly skilled machinists to determine the best possible processing for parts requiring multiple operations
• Grow in a culture that promotes continuous improvement of both work and self
• Liberty to experiment with new technologies and practices
• Challenging work that forces you to develop your craft and grow as a machinist
• Program with Mazatrol, Mori Seiki Mapps, and Master Cam or similar

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic machining knowledge

• NIMS credentials level I & II is a plus
• Able to program with one of the following or similar:
  Mazatrol, Mori Seiki MAPPS III and/or Mori Seiki MAPPS IV, or Master Cam
• Self-motivation and project drive while working well in a team environment
• Basic machining tools (micrometer, indicator, and other standard machinist tools)
• Talent to work safely
• Drive to recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition
• Ability select appropriate PPE based on job requirements

• We generally work first shift Monday-Friday
• Also a position available for a four-day work week on third shift
• Hydromat's workplace is climate controlled through all weather seasons.
