Essex Industries is a leading multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer supporting military and commercial customers around the world. We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team and play a critical role in building high-quality components by following blueprint specifications, manufacturing work instructions, and other controlled documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Receive job order and direction from supervisor or lead.
  • Read and interpret the blueprint.
  • Create setup testing per ATP.
  • Assemble the parts to blueprint specifications.
  • Perform repair work (under FAA guidelines) as required.
  • Read ATP and follow its procedures to test the parts (if ATP is required for the part).
  • Fill out test data to record results of the ATP, if applicable.
  • Ability to complete jobs within set time standards, minimize scrap to acceptable level.
  • Mechanical aptitude to learn new jobs, be cross-trained, and start troubleshooting.
  • Help out where needed to complete the job orders to schedule.
  • Comply with Essex company policies and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Required to have 6 mo.

    - 1 year of experience in assembly work and/or 1-3 years of tech school training. Solder Certification/or/experience a plus.
