- Guide a diverse team of production partners in a food manufacturing setting
- Participate in Production Leader training covering production processes, coaching, mentoring, and resolving production, safety, and quality matters
- Communicate expectations and provide ongoing performance feedback
- Guide production teams to maximize efficiencies and achieve daily production goals
- Assist with company, plant, and department processes and programs
- Monitor training to prepare team members for success
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
- Identify waste and cost-reduction opportunities through daily problem solving
- Participate in capital improvement projects
- Resolve roadblocks to maximize production efficiencies
- Collaborate with others to support customer-focused efforts
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge of government regulations
- Represent the plant during regulatory, customer, and internal audits
- Establish and audit standard operating procedures to ensure customer requirements are met
- Bachelor’s degree in dairy, food science, agriculture, business, or related field preferred
- High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of proven leadership or manufacturing experience
- Ability to communicate with influence, both written and verbally
- Proactive, self-accountable, solution-focused approach
- Continuous desire to learn, grow, and improve
- Ability to collaborate with partners from diverse backgrounds and support a culture of dignity and respect
- Ability to stand up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to walk up to 60 minutes per hour
- Ability to sit up to 15 minutes per hour
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, squat, and twist
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship determined at Schreiber Foods’ discretion
- For positions requiring travel: valid driver’s license, auto insurance, acceptable driving record, and suitable vehicle
Demonstrates expertise in guiding production teams within a food manufacturing environment, focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality. Proficient in regulatory compliance, team development, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
