Job Summary
Supervises the daily activities of an assigned production area to ensure safety, quality, productivity, cost, waste, and delivery objectives are achieved. Coordinates work schedules, staffing needs, and production priorities to maximize efficiency and maintain workflow. Provides work direction, coaching, and support to production team members while monitoring performance metrics and process effectiveness. Identifies production issues, troubleshoots root causes, and implements corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Supports employee training, onboarding, and development activities while ensuring compliance with safety policies, quality standards, work instructions, and company procedures. Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations.
- Conduct regular production meetings to communicate priorities, goals, safety topics, and performance expectations.
- Coordinate production schedules, staffing requirements, and workflow to meet customer and operational demands.
- Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process challenges.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, process effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Coach, train, mentor, and develop production employees to build technical capability and job proficiency.
- Maintain staffing coverage and communicate workforce needs to management.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements and model ethical behavior consistent with company values and the Code of Conduct.
- Proven track record with coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members.
- Ability to adapt in complex situations with competing priorities and communicate effectively.

Why, Fishbone) - Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Proven track record of managing manufacturing operations
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Minimum of 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and production management tools preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee may be required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is typical of most shop environments, not climate-controlled and impacted by outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.
