JOB SUMMARY:
The Electrical Engineer Intern will work with Electrical Designers and Engineers to use various design software to create accurate drawings.
- Utilize design software to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D models of custom equipment based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Create project documents as required, including bills of materials, parts lists, etc
- Communicate variances in job scope effectively.
- Ensure technical support is provided to the appropriate teams:
Design and Fabrication - Ensure proper communication with all teams throughout the duration of each project.
- Work diligently to ensure there are no disruptions on projects.
- Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
- Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work is performed in a Vestal Corporation office.
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to move about the office to access office equipment and other office buildings within the Vestal office complex.
- This position frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information.
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program.
- 0-1 years of experience is required.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Electrical Construction Industry.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.

- Utilize the plus/delta technique to elicit assessment at conclusion of meetings and other group activities
