** is seeking a Tooling Mechanic to support the Tooling & Emergent Operations Team in Berkeley, MO!

* Position Responsibilities:

*
* + Program, setup, and machine parts on 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, and live tooling lathes

+ Develop, prepare and maintain all documentation related to the design, fabrication, and usage of various tooling items and their respective associated calibration equipment

+ Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components(Examples: Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)

+ Other responsibilities may include:
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration, CNC machining, Welding, Composites Modification, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking, and much more

** Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:*
* ** This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.*

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* + 3+ years of experience working in a machining environment

+ High school graduate or GED

*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + 5+ years experience with CAD/CAM Software (MasterCAM)

+ 5+ years of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery (Examples: 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, live tooling lathes)

+ Technical trade school certificate/degree (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)

+ The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.

+ New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.
