About the RoleGrowth Assistant is hiring an early-career Content Marketer to help us ideate, write, distribute, and scale compelling content across social, email, and web. You’ll own a hands‑on content pipeline, run experiments, and use data to learn fast. This role is perfect for a sharp, proactive builder who is eager to join a quickly growing startup and work on a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented team.
This is a copywriting heavy role with fast feedback loops – a great writer is required.
- Own the content calendar across our Linked In / X channels, moving eventually to own our website’s blog, email, and newsletters.
- Conduct interviews with founders, customers, and team members to uncover insights and turn raw conversations into compelling content (posts, videos, landing pages)
- Repurpose and atomize long‑form content into tweets, carousels, and snippets.
- Measure performance (traffic, CTR, leads) and propose weekly tests to improve results.
- Research playbooks, use cases and best practices to augment content quality.
- Stay on top of platform best practices and cultural trends; bring fresh content ideas weekly.
- Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, campus publications, freelance count)
- Exceptional written English: crisp, persuasive, and error‑free; strong editing chops.
- Demonstrated experience asking sharp, thoughtful questions that surfaced unique stories, leading to high‑performing content across blog, social, and email
- Familiarity with major social platforms (especially Linked In and X) and how content travels on each.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable pulling simple performance reports and drawing insights.
- High ownership and bias to action; proactive, organized, and deadline‑reliable.
- Coachable and growth‑oriented; actively seeks feedback and iterates quickly.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Must be U.S.
-based and legally authorized to work in the United States
. Preference for full‑time, in‑person in St. Louis office. At minimum, must be willing to travel at least once a quarter to St. Louis.
- Exposure to B2B, SaaS, or growth marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush), keyword research, and brief creation.
- A small portfolio of writing samples, social posts/threads, or short‑form scripts.
- Familiarity with (and curiosity about) AI tools and how they can be used to accelerate content creation and marketing experiments
- Bonus if you’ve dabbled in video editing or short‑form content production for social (Reels, Tik Toks, etc.)
- Experience supporting or promoting online events, webinars, or workshops is a plus
