eCommerce Brand Manager

The eCommerce Brand Manager helps develop the eCommerce brand strategy to drive output in the eCommerce channel and omni channel customers.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • Strategy:

  • Create category and brand strategies for ecommerce that drive share gains
  • Develop assortment strategy in partnership with commercial strategy group
  • Contribute to defining the future ecommerce strategy for Bayer Consumer Health, including identification of key capability advancements that need to be made to win
  • Actively monitor and learn from competitive activity and actions and partner closely with brand to mitigate competitive risks
  • Business delivery and growth:
  • Manage business delivery and reporting in support of Upper Respiratory Pod including monthly business health reporting to UR GM
  • Partner with field sales at Amazon and beyond to deliver upon eCommerce quota and growth agreements
  • Identify critical brands and skus to maintain eCommerce growth
  • Develop the assortment, content, and media strategies and partner with the brand, customer, and media teams to execute, inclusive of media plan and creative development
  • Create and maintain eCommerce promotional calendars
  • Participate in brand planning as eCommerce expert and eCommerce sales planning as brand expert
  • Work with media team to activate Search for retail media platforms inclusive of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Strategies, LMR (Legal, Medical, Regulatory), Brand Stores, retail health, new item launches and external media
  • Utilize Profit Return of Investment (ROI) model to justify current investment and secure incremental investment
  • Digital Shelf:
  • Drive discoverability and visibility via optimized consumer experience through content, ratings and reviews, taxonomy, etc. to deliver best in class digital shelf
  • Manage content briefs and specialized eCommerce content suppliers:
    Oliver and Bayer Global Business Services off-shore support team
  • Map out a plan to deliver 95% digital shelf content score
  • Identify test and learn opportunities to improve conversion
  • Leadership:
  • Responsible for the development and coaching, and setting workplans and goals for analyst
  • Set direction for off-shore eCommerce content support team in off-shore support team
  • Upskill and develop marketing understanding of eCommerce to raise eCommerce IQ
  • Collaborate with Global partners to garner support for new capabilities and initiatives
WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required
  • At least six years of progressive Sales Strategy, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing or Shopper Research experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, Ecommerce industry or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
  • Teamwork, ability to develop relationships, strong written and verbal communication, ability to influence, analytical, problem solving, and ability to prioritize
  • Strong customer focus, an ability to drive results and manage complexity and ambiguity
  • Courage, drive, vision and purpose

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $112k-168k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
