MADE Makerspace is a nonprofit community makerspace providing accessible, hands‑on learning through creative classes, workshops, and partnerships.
Role SummaryThe Education & Program Manager coordinates and manages MADE’s educational programs and community offerings. This role focuses on program coordination, instructor communication, scheduling, and online visibility, and works closely with the Executive Director and instructors to ensure programs run smoothly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate free programs, paid classes, and community workshops
- Communicate with instructors and support onboarding (including safety requirements)
- Manage class schedules and timelines
- Keep class listings updated across the website, Google Calendar, Square, and on‑site postings
- Work with marketing contractors and web designers to share accurate class information
- Maintain accountability for ensuring classes are promoted
- Support partnerships with schools, organizations, and community partners
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment aligned with MADE’s mission
- 32–40 hours per week
- Minimum of two evenings per week required on‑site
- Occasional weekend hours
- $18–$22/hour, depending on experience
- 10 days PTO per year

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience developing or coordinating programs
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Experience with Canva or similar design software
- Enthusiastic, warm, and community‑oriented
- Experience with Square or similar POS systems
- Familiarity with makerspace tools and equipment
- Prior exposure to grant‑funded or grant‑aligned programs
