LIV is seeking a professional, relationship-driven Outreach Coordinator to help increase visibility across all LIV locations and build a strong referral base that supports full programs and meaningful community impact. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by connecting with people, representing a mission-driven organization, and creating trusted partnerships throughout the community.
Position OverviewThe Outreach Coordinator will serve as a key representative of LIV across all locations, developing relationships with referral partners, community organizations, healthcare providers, courts, recovery supports, and other stakeholders. The goal of this position is to strengthen awareness of LIV’s programs, increase appropriate referrals, and help ensure programs remain full. This exempt position reports to the Director of Development and will also support fundraising events and development-related community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Represent LIV professionally across all locations and in the broader community.
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with community partners, providers, courts, hospitals, recovery organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Build a reliable referral pipeline to support program census goals and ensure LIV programs remain full.
- Conduct outreach visits, presentations, tours, phone calls, and follow-up communication with referral partners.
- Track outreach activity, referral trends, partner engagement, and outcomes.
- Communicate program availability, admission criteria, service offerings, and updates clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with program leadership and admissions staff to support timely and appropriate referrals.
- Represent LIV at community events, coalitions, provider meetings, resource fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Support the Director of Development with fundraising events, sponsorship outreach, donor engagement activities, and event logistics.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding outreach progress, opportunities, and recommended strategies.
- Experience in outreach, community engagement, business development, admissions, behavioral health, recovery services, nonprofit development, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to represent LIV’s mission with professionalism, compassion, credibility, and cultural humility.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple locations, partners, follow-ups, and priorities.
- Comfortable using email, calendars, basic tracking systems, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, recovery housing, behavioral health, community resources, or referral systems preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly to all LIV locations and community partner sites.
This is an exempt position serving all LIV locations. The role requires regular travel to LIV locations and community partner sites, as well as occasional availability for community meetings, networking opportunities, and fundraising events.
