Travel RN - Operating Room - First Assist

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN First Assist (RNFA) for an Operating Room position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent OR experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Operating Room Complex within a hospital setting,

• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm,

• 13-week assignment duration,

Job Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration,

• First Assistant (RNFA) certification required,

• Current BLS certification required with no expiring certs within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled,

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in perioperative nursing and first assisting,

• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required,

• No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• RNFA will be responsible for pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care and first assisting in surgical procedures,

• Blocked scheduling may be considered based on facility needs,

• Up to 5 days of requested time off is permitted but must be made up during the assignment,

• Local candidates within 50 miles may be subject to contract length and return limitations,

• Candidates with a home address within 50 miles are restricted to three consecutive 13-week contracts at a local facility before a required break or transfer,
