Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, including post-treatment care and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families, ensuring communication across the continuum of care.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific needs.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety is essential.
  • Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing

    Experience:

    • None required

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • RN license

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • Less than 2 years of experience
