CNA Nursing Assistant

Job Summary

A certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab assists patients with daily living activities, monitors their condition, and supports the skilled nursing team.

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service with guests, families, and visitors.
• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans: bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Measure and record vital signs, nutritional intake, blood pressure, temperature, respirations, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team.
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative and recreational therapies by encouraging participation.

• Completed an approved Nurse Assistant training program and current CNA certification required from the State of Michigan.
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
• Team‑player with dedication to supporting colleagues and completing tasks.

Hours:

8‑hour shifts. Full‑time 2nd shift, part‑time 2nd & 3rd shift. All shifts include rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay:
Starting wage $19.00 per hour + $3.40 per hour Hero Pay ($22.40 gross), with yearly wage increases.
