Schedule: Full‑Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

About the Unit – Neurology (8E)Neurology 8E cares for patients experiencing acute and chronic neurological conditions such as strokes, seizures, brain tumors and brain bleeds. Team members support complex neuro assessments, safety‑focused care and close interdisciplinary collaboration with therapy and neurology teams.
OverviewUtilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a person licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinate the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Comparable education experience and successful licensure may be considered
- New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)
- LPN‑IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
