Travel RN - Med​/Surg

Overview

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and the ability to float across all care areas.

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Hospital setting within a 356‑bed non‑profit, research and academic medical center in St. Louis, MO
• Comprehensive overflow Med/Surg unit staffed by an in‑house hospitalist team, serving patients from all disciplines and specialties
• Night shift, 4x12‑hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to all care areas to care for Med/Surg patients
• 13‑week contract
• Tertiary care facility affiliated with an academic medical school, providing care for the east Missouri region
• Part of a large regional health system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Complimentary onsite parking garage available
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
