Job Overview

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Travel nurse RN Med Surg position at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center – requires Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Shift: 3x12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours:

• Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility

• Work in the Medical/Surgical unit (6N) of a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center and research hospital in St. Louis, MO
• Provide care for ENT, plastics, cystic fibrosis (CF), general surgery, and general med/surg cases
• Every other weekend required
• Float to other units within scope to care for med/surg patients
• Block scheduling available upon request
• Epic EMR required
• Navy scrubs required

• Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand or pending accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hrs per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
