Test & Treatment Registered Nurse (RN) – Part‑time

Join Mercy Kids as a dedicated RN passionate about pediatric care. As a Test & Treatment RN you will deliver patient‑centered care, coordinate across departments, and support families throughout the healing process.

• Provide and oversee high‑quality patient care for assigned pediatric patients
• Coordinate care across departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Involve patients and families in care decisions and education
• Develop and document individualized care plans, including goals and outcomes
• Perform safe, structured patient handoffs (SBAR, bedside report, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Interpret diagnostic and lab data to inform care decisions
• Delegate and guide LPNs and support staff within scope of practice
• Participate in quality improvement, training, and professional development initiatives
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy’s values in all interactions

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active RN license (or compact) in the state of practice
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications may include ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, and other unit‑specific credentials

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
