Outpatient GYN Chemo Center PRN - Clinical Nurse

Job Overview

10‑hour shifts in an outpatient chemo infusion clinic at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital’s Center for Advanced Medicine. Clinic hours: 8 am–6 pm, Monday‑Friday; no weekends or holidays. Oncology experience preferred.

Location:

13th floor.

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within standards of nursing care.
• Promote patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness management and home‑care medication administration.
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, and family.
• Proactively plan and ensure communication of the plan of care across the continuum.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; evaluate patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Work in a constant state of alertness as a safety‑sensitive position.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• No experience required.
• RN license.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
