PCU is a 19‑bed surgical progressive care unit. The patient population is comprised of acutely ill surgical patients requiring a higher level of nursing care and monitoring. This unit primarily cares for post‑op patients admitted to the Abdominal Transplant, Hepatobiliary Surgery, ENT/Plastics Surgery and Ortho‑micro Surgery teams. Secondary, this unit manages critical care needs for patients admitted to the Trauma
